Octane number is the most important quality indicator for automotive gasoline. There are usually several ways to improve the octane number of gasoline:
1.Improve refining process technology, such as catalytic cracking, catalytic reforming, alkylation, isomerization, etc;
2.Add high octane components such as isooctane, methyl tert butyl ether, alcohol fuels, etc;
3.Add gasoline anti-knock agent.
Although improving the process and blending high octane components are the main means to increase octane value, they require high investment, are difficult to achieve the optimal combination, and lack flexibility, making it difficult or costly to achieve the goal. Adding gasoline anti-knock agents is the most economical method.

Usage and dosage

 

Before use, a sample should be prepared for testing to determine the optimal dosage. Harmonize requirements as evenly as possible. For users with small blending amounts, they can directly add it on the tanker and use the natural mixing caused by the bumps during the vehicle's driving process. For users with large blending volumes, it is recommended to use power mixing equipment and use pipeline static mixers for mixing to ensure the best mixing effect.
