During the refining process, when the temperature exceeds 230 ºC, sulfur and cycloalkanoic acid undergo chemical corrosion. Sulfur reacts with Fe to form FeS, which adheres to the metal surface to form a protective film that can prevent further corrosion by sulfur. When there is cyclic acid in the system, it reacts chemically with iron to form surface active cyclic acid iron, which can dissolve the FeS film and promote further corrosion by sulfur. When both coexist in a corrosive environment, corrosion will be more severe. SD-GH type high-temperature corrosion inhibitor is developed for the high-temperature corrosion mechanism of sulfur-containing and acid containing crude oil, combined with the process conditions of the device. The agent has a metal surface modification effect, forming a stable and dense chemical film on the metal surface, thereby preventing the corrosion of sulfur and cyclic acid on the metal and achieving the effect of controlling high-temperature sulfur cyclic acid corrosion. It has neutralization and film-forming functions, forming a stable chemical protective film that is not affected by acidic or alkaline media; It can undergo neutralization reaction with petroleum acid in corrosive media, reducing acidic corrosion. And it can withstand high temperatures of 200-400 ºC.
Suitable for the heating furnace tubes, atmospheric tower diesel distillation pipelines, atmospheric tower side lines, atmospheric tower and vacuum tower bottoms of atmospheric and vacuum distillation units used in refineries for processing high acid value crude oil, with chemical corrosion caused by petroleum acids at temperatures ranging from 200-400 ºC. Corrosion of sulfur and cycloalkanoic acid in the middle and lower parts of catalytic cracking and coking distillation towers, as well as the bottom trays.

Usage and dosage

 

1.Inject corrosion inhibitor continuously into the corroded area using a gear metering pump. The addition amount is 50-100ppm.
2.The dosage should be 150-200 ppm at the beginning of one month, and then follow the normal dosage thereafter.

1.During transportation, it should be handled with care and stored in a sealed, dry, and cool environment. The storage period is two years.
