During the atmospheric and vacuum distillation process of crude oil in refineries, sulfur in the crude oil causes corrosion of the atmospheric and vacuum distillation tower and cold exchange equipment. In severe cases, equipment perforation can pose a threat to safety production and secondary processing, resulting in abnormal shutdowns and production stoppages, seriously affecting the economic benefits of refining enterprises.
The new type of neutralizing corrosion inhibitor developed and produced by our company is an imidazoline type organic compound synthesized from multi-component compounds such as organic amines, which replaces ammonia injection at the top of the tower and has dual effects of corrosion inhibition and neutralization.
The main performance and inhibition principle of neutralizing corrosion inhibitors are as follows:
1.This agent has two types of products: oil soluble and water-soluble. It is a weakly alkaline organic compound that inhibits corrosion reactions by neutralizing acidic substances in oil products.
2.The agent can adsorb onto the metal surface of the equipment, forming a single molecule stable water-resistant protective film, preventing acidic substances from approaching the metal and slowing down the corrosive effect of acidic substances.
3.The use of this agent replaces the injection of ammonia at the top of the tower, overcomes some of the disadvantages of ammonia injection at the top of the tower and the consumption of ammonia solution, and has high economy and operability.
4.The agent has the characteristics of simple process flow, easy operation, safety and reliability. It controls the pH value of sulfur-containing wastewater between 6.5-7.5 and has an average corrosion inhibition rate of over 95%.

Usage and dosage

 

1.This product is mainly used to inhibit the corrosion of atmospheric towers, vacuum towers, and cold exchange equipment caused by cyclic acids, hydrogen sulfide, etc. It can be directly injected into the oil and gas line at the top of the tower.
2.The dosage of this agent is 15ppm-30ppm of the feed amount, or added according to the sulfur content of the raw material.
3.The amount added within the first two weeks of use should be about twice the normal amount added.
4.This agent can be directly injected using a plunger pump, or diluted with water (oil soluble diesel) in a 1:1 ratio before injection.

Packaging & Shipping

1. This product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well ventilated place. The  storage period is two years.
2. Water soluble products are packaged in plastic drums with a net weight of 200kg per drum; Oil soluble products are packaged in galvanized drums with a net weight of 180kg per drum.
