In the production process of gasoline mercaptan removal, it is common to encounter the problem of unqualified copper corrosion of gasoline after mercaptan removal. This type of unqualified gasoline is still difficult to pass due to corrosion after alkali washing and refining, which seriously affects product quality and the economic benefits of refineries.
Item | Typical Value | Test Method |
Copper corrosion (50 ºC, 3h) | ≤Level 1 | GB/T5096 |
Flash point (closed)/ºC | ≥50 | GB/T261 |
Kinematic viscosity (20ºC) /(mm ²/s) | ≤15 | GB/T265 |
PH value | 6.5-8.5 | GB/T11140 |
Density (20 ºC)/(kg/m ³) | 800-950 | GB/T1884 |
Based on the sulfur content and acid value of gasoline, it is recommended to add 0.05 ‰ -0.3 ‰. The optimal ratio needs to be determined through laboratory copper corrosion testing before initial use. Directly add this product to gasoline and ensure sufficient dispersion through mechanical stirring, pipeline circulation, or static mixer. If the gasoline temperature is below 10 ºC, it can be preheated to 20-30 ºC to improve mixing efficiency, and direct heating with an open flame is strictly prohibited.
