The viscosity of catalytic cracking slurry oil media has increased, resulting in an increase in aromatic hydrocarbons, gum, asphaltene, catalyst fine powder particles, and heavy metal content, leading to increasingly severe fouling in the slurry oil  equipment system.
The scaling in the slurry oil system can seriously affect the normal operation of the catalytic cracking unit. Reduce the heat transfer rate of the heat exchanger and increase the resistance of pipeline transportation. The common practice is add slurry oil scale inhibitors toinhibit the formation of scale.
Its main performance and scale inhibition principle are as follows:
1.Disperse the inherent insoluble suspended solids in the slurry oil itself (such as catalyst fines, which account for about 50% of the scaling composition), and prevent their aggregation and sedimentation.
2.Combine with scaling components to form inert molecules (i.e. saturated free radicals), achieving the effect of terminating the chain increase reaction. Passivation of the wall of the slurry oil heat exchanger enhances the anti-corrosion performance of the metal surface.
3.Within the normal operating temperature range at the bottom of the fractionation tower, it can effectively suppress the formation of scale and the adhesion of precipitation, without any adverse effects on the distribution of catalytic cracking reaction products. It can maintain the long-term stable operation of the slurry oil system equipment and pipelines, reduce energy consumption, improve the operating efficiency of the unit and the economic benefits of the refinery.

Usage and dosage

 

1. It can be directly injected between the bottom outlet of the fractionation tower and the inlet of the heat exchanger.
2. It is best to remove the scale in the slurry oil system before use, and the amount added should be about twice the normal amount within the first two weeks of use.
3. The amount of this agent added is 50ppm-100ppm of the catalytic raw material. Adjust the addition amount based on the properties of the raw materials, the density and solid content of the slurry, and the amount of slurry thrown out.

Packaging & Shipping

1.This product should be stored in a cool, dry, ventilated place, waterproof, and sunscreen. The storage period is one year.
2.This product is packaged in iron drums, with a net weight of 180kg per drum for SD-PG1. SD-PG2 has a net weight of 200kg per barrel.
